Who we are?

Teja Kolar has gained extensive professional experience on public procurement. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at  the University of Zagreb. In period 2008-2013 she worked at the Directorate for the Public Procurement System of the Ministy of Economy in Croatia. She worked on development of a national public procurement system, drafting of a strategic and legislative framework on public procurement in line with EU requirements, activities on Croatian accession to EU, development and implementation of a training programe, advisory activities on application of public procurement legislation and control on implementation of public procurement legislation. She was the Head of the Working Group for the Preparation of EU Accession Negotiations for Chapter 5 Public procurement. Since July 2013 she is cofounder of the company Tematikon projekt where she has continued professional activities on public procurement. She has valid certificate of a special training programme in the field of public procurement (national certificate in Croatia required by the Public Procurement Law) and she has been trainer at numerous seminars, workshops and conferences on different public procurement aspects in Croatia and abroad. As a public procurement expert she participates at different projects in Croatia and abroad.

Maja Kušt has a broad professional experience on public procurement, implementation of EU policies and legislation and environmental protection. In period 2002-2008 she worked on EU integration issues at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, while in period 2008-2013 she worked at the Directorate for the Public Procurement System of the Ministry of Economy in Croatia. Her activities covered establishment and management of public procurement training system, activities on Croatian accession to EU, electronic public procurement, drafting of implementing tools and advisory activities on application of public procurement legislation. She actively participated in drafting of a national strategic and legislative framework on public procurement in line with EU requirements. Since July 2013 she is cofounder of the company Tematikon projekt where she has continued professional activities on public procurement, EU integration and environmental protection.
